114 Tips to Help You Finally Memorize The Qur’an (P/B)
“114 Tips to Help You Finally Memorize the Qur’an is a concise book that aims to equip readers of all backgrounds with the information and techniques necessary in order to begin, continue with, and complete the memorization of the Qur’an, eliminating thereby the common excuse and reasons for not memorizing.”
The Light of The Qur’an
The Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, passed by a person reciting Surah Al – Kafirun and remarked, “He has been saved from shirk”. He passed by another reciting Surah Al – Ikhlas and remarked. Paradise has become obligatory for him. Reported by Muslim.
These two chapters have both been given the title Al-Ikhlas, or purity of faith, because they deal with the topic of Tawhid in all its various aspects. Al – Ikhlas concentrates on the pure, essential faith in Allah that all mankind is required to have. Al – Kafirun deals with purity of deed and disavowal of disbelief and paganism. Both chapters lay out the parameters of mans relationship with his/her lord and creator, as well as his/her relationship those around him/her.
Pure, unblemished monotheism combined with sincerity in belief and deed defines the relationship with Allah. Hi is one and only true God, unique, without peer, equal or opposite, and nothing is like on to him. He is the one who stands in need of nothing whereas everything is in dire need of him.
Maintaining the essential Muslim identity and character defines the relationship between the Muslim and his fellow man. The Muslim is unambiguous about his religion, truthful and upright in speech, deed and his dealings with those around him. Hi is proud of his faith and has unshakable conviction in it. He loves his lord, his Messenger and the Muslims and is loyal to them. Because of this, the dearest thing to him is his religion and he will not compromise it, pleasing Allah comes before pleasing the people.
The prophet would frequently recite these two chapters in prayer because of the commonality of their theme and to stress that success is achieved, in this life and the next, by internalising their message and living by it.

The publication of this book reflects our continuing effort to bring to the English speaking Muslims works previously only available to Arab speakers.
Paragons of The Qur’an (P/B)
In discussing the unique style, theme and content of the Qur’an – this is the first work of its kind in English literature.
There are a numerous verses in the Noble Qur’an by which Allah, the Most High, brings Greater clarity and insight when explaining things to mankind. This is done through the use of deep and meaningful parables that are clear for human intellect to comprehend, ponder over and understand the message of the Qur’an. It is from his infinite Wisdom that Allah destined these divinely revealed parables to become rooted in His Final Revelation, until the Last Day – through which mankind can increase in knowledge, recognise guidance and embrace the truth.
This book explains many parables in the Qur’an, in such depth – exquisitely and beautifully. It is an amazing work that will get the intellect thinking and pondering over the beauty and precisions of the Magnificent Qur’an, guiding mankind to the straight path. Not only is this work an intellectual discourse, but also a spiritual enlightenment for every Muslim.
It is a timely translation of one on the finest, yet concise books written on the topic. Not only is this work an intellectual discourse, it also provides inspiration and instils spiritual enlightenment for every Muslim who seeks to create a stronger bond with the Mighty Book Of Allah.
In discussing the theme of some of these verses, this book exquisitely and beautifully explains many parables found therein, the depth of which will stimulate the intellect to ponder over the beauty of the articulated literary style and precision of the Magnificent Quran, guiding mankind to the straight path.
The Sources of the Qur’an
“Who is the author of the Qur’an?” On this subject scholars have flagrantly contradicted each other. This work attempts to make a critical review of the major ‘authorship’ theories by pressing into service logical arguments, historical evidence, textual analysis and scientific data. Probably, the only point of agreement about the Qur’an is that it was uttered for the first time by a man who was born in Makkah (Mecca), a city of Arabia, in the sixth century—a man by the name of Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him). As to the source of the Qur’an, scholars are divided into three main groups: those who believe that Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) himself was the author; those who believe that he was not the author himself but learned it from another human author or authors; and those who believe that the Qur’an has no human author but is rather a word-for-word revelation from God. Hamza Njozi examines the three theories and comes to a firm and logical conclusion.
Divine Speech
The Quran, the sacred scripture of Islam, is revered as the spoken word of God by approximately one-fifth of the world’s population. Since its inception, the power of the Quran has derived not only from its message, but also from the inimitable literary style and rhetorical impact that the Arabic scripture has on its audiences. Divine Speech: Exploring the Quran as Literature attempts to make some of the most recent Arabic and European-language scholarship on its literary features accessible to a wider, English-speaking audience. These features include its language and word choice, its use of figures of speech and other rhetorical devices, its manner of narrating parables and stories, and the structure, coherence, and the order of its “chapters”-aspects that typically remain mysterious to readers of English translations of the text. Divine Speech furnishes its readers with a better appreciation of the Quran from a literary perspective, and in the process stimulates interest in, and provides tools and resources for, further study of the scripture.

The Devil’s Deceptions
Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi It is from enmity and hopelessness of the devil that his endeavour to misguide mankind from the Path of Allah will persist. This misguidance takes many shades and forms; be it from planting seeds of doubt, or giving rise to deviant ideas antithetical to the sacred teachings of Islam, and essentially becoming entangled within regressive intellectual and rhetorical discourses.
The Ummah has suffered varying levels of deviation, some of which remain prevalent today, while more continue to be uncovered – and such is the impact of delusive plottings of the devil and his allies. This book is the sixth instalment from Dar as-Sunnah of the illustrious Imam, Abu’l-Faraj Ibn Jawzi. Being a complete translation of his well-known and prized work, Ibn Jawzi enumerates within it, many of the mechanisms and modus operandi used by the devil in deceiving and leading mankind away from the Straight Path.
It is of particular value and importance because only by unearthing and accentuating some of the traps of the devil, can mankind avoid them as well as navigate others away from falling prey to his harm. Speaking about the devil and his plotting, the author wrote that, “he was only able to do so while creeping during the night of ignorance. Had the dawn of knowledge shone on him, he would have been exposed.
Thus I decided to warn from his plots… for identifying evil is a form of warning from it.” This translation of Tablees Iblees will provide important analysis in developing self-awareness and critical thinking to ward off many deceptions of the devil, which have plagued mankind from the time of Adam. For such reasons alone, this work is a valuable addition to the scholarly discourse it presents to the English speaking world.

Muhammad in the Hindu Scriptures (P/B)
God is One. Human nature is one. Human destiny is one. And Gods message to humanity vis-a-vis that destiny is one. However, the rebellious element in mans nature has led him to disobey God on the one hand, and on the other, he has pushed on to distort the very message of God. But the message is never fully lost. It would be ludicrous and indeed heretical to think that the situation could have gone out of God’s control.
With every distortion, therefore, He has renewed the message to salvage humanity from self-ruin. More interesting than that is the fact
that He has inserted in every message a Pointer to the Final Guide and the message he would be entrusted with; a Pointer which shows the true
seeker where the uncorrupted message could be found – the message that no one would be able to distort any more. While the main body of the message has been corrupted, the Pointer contained within has not been destroyed. Muhammad in the Hindu Scriptures brings out the truth of this phenomenon.
In addition to the Vedas and the Puranas, the book has unearthed this Pointer in the Buddhist, Christian, Jewish and other Hindu scriptures. Each of these scriptures uses its own unique Pointer relevant to its own theological scheme and the religious mentality of its own people. Separately and jointly these Pointers lit up the road to Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) exclusively, without any iota of doubt.
By all accounts the Final Guru has been sent and the Last Testament is in our laps. Additionally, the existence of these Pointers in the earlier
scriptures is yet another dimension of God’s mechanism to guide mankind to the infallible Truth. Upon reading the book, the theist, the atheist and the agnostic will find a lot to think about.
