Kota Gelangi tampak gemilang di celah lembah, namun tembok hitam azamnya menyimpan seribu derita. Di bawah kekuasaan Manura (Majlis Nurani Agung) , ilmu dan tafsiran suci dilarang terbuka dan setiap suara kebenaran dibungkam. Khalid, seorang pemuda asing yang berani, menyelinap masuk sebagai pedagang demi menyiasat pemusnahan Laman Suluh – pusat ilmu yang musnah dalam kabut misteri. Namun lorong-lorong berliku Gelangi penuh muslihat: pengkhianatan menanti di sebalik senyuman, dan mata-mata Manura mengintai tiap gerakannya.
