Given the dire need for English Islamic studies material in schools, Darussalam has endeavored to publish an Islamic Studies series covering all grades from grades 1 through 12. This series covers all areas of Islamic studies: tafsir, ahaddith, tawheed, fiqh, sirah, and general etiquette relating to different areas and situations. Given the importance of Islamic knowledge, every effort has been made to ensure that the material presented in the series is authentic. Also, given the importance of Arabic Islamic terms, most are presented in their original Arabic script, transliteration, and translation. This also applies to supplications which must be memorized in their Arabic version. The aim is to help the students read the original text and understand its meaning. Each lesson is followed by exercises with questions about the lesson.
One striking feature of this series is the use of colorful artwork. It is appealing to students and teachers. This is certainly bound to attract young readers’ attention, stimulate them, amuse them, and most importantly to educate them.
This series aims to acquaint the student with the teachings of Islam in every aspect: beliefs, practices, and moral conduct. Its unique features fill a gap in the area of English Islamic curriculums, which has long been neglected.
The present breathtaking work was initiated by an expert in the field of education, Molvi Abdul Aziz, who held different posts in the field, including that of senior administrative officer in the Department of Private Education, Ministry of Education, Dubai from 1982 to 2002.

Healing the Emptiness
Many of us have lost our way in this life. Some people have given up hope, as they see no way out of their pain, their problems, their failures. Some people carry years of shame and self-hatred. And some live with a deep emptiness, despite worldly success.
But there is hope. And there is always a road back. Just as we were sent on this worldly journey with the capacity to fall, we were also given the capacity to rise. Just as we would bleed, we would also heal. We would be designed with the divine capacity to cope. To survive. To even thrive through the storms. Each and every one of us would be given the God-given potential to see through the darkness. To rise through the cold. To break again and again, and to heal again and again. And then to be even more beautiful at the broken parts. This book provides a step-by step guide for healing these broken parts-our emptiness.

What is it like to live inside such a society? Why has it taken such strong root in so many countries? Is there no sense of outrage and shame against such a phenomenon among our elite? What can be done to stem the tide? Is it corruption as it is known in the West? These disturbing questions and more are answered in this book. Corruption in all its forms, bribery nepotism, and extortion, is shown for what it is – a major cause of the dehumanization and victimization of innocent people. The corrupt have no aspirations for the betterment of their societies. A Hanbali Epitome: A Student’s Guide
The present work focuses on the Muslim community requires for purification, prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage, and warfare. A lengthy introduction to Islamic law and the Hanbali’ school has been included to prepare the readers. The language employed in the translation has been kept simple, straightforward, and modern to make the work accessible to everyone who speaks English – law student or otherwise. This bilingual edition, with its parallel Arabic text, will allow readers to access the original Arabic and hopefully help with vocabulary building, oracy, and future translation. Muslims for many centuries have turned to Dalil al-Talib for study, and ultimately to be informed of their religious practices. It is hoped the translation, The Student’s Guide, will produce a similar response and convey the spirit and manner of the original owing to its style and simplicity.
