In this book, the stories of the prophets have been compiled from ‘Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah’ (The Beginning and the End) which is a great work of the famous Muslim exegete and historian Ibn Kathir and has a prominent place in the Islamic literature. This book provides something that no other book does, it gives outsiders (Muslims and non) a view into why women choose to veil. This is the only book written by a woman on this topic, and honestly, I want more books like this. I love reading Islamic feminist works and all of them skip over the face veil. I’m so happy I found this author, I also love watching her interviews on youtube!
