Islam and The World (IIPH)
Despite the world’s tremendous advances in the fields of science and technology, almost all communities have been led into the wilderness of fear, greed, loneliness and spiritual despair. Professor Nadwi explicitly asserts that the achievements of science and technology did not match humanity’s moral or spiritual aspirations. Should a corresponding improvement is attained in human behaviour by applying the teachings of Islam, such as advances would have conferred benefits on all parties.
In Pursuit of Allah’s Pleasure
In this book the authors outlined a complete methodology for Islamic work today. From `Aqeedah to Da’wah, Jihad to Khilafah and Taqwa to Sabr (patience), they explained how all of these parts of Islam come together for the sole objective of each and every Muslim: to seek the Pleasure of Allah ( SWT ), the Irresistible. It was written in a manner portraying the true situation of the Muslims today and, coming from imprisoned scholars: a realistic portrayal.
This book is an excellent read by itself and an even better guide if used as a syllabus in learning Islam in an organised, collective manner. It is ideal as a basis for study circles and acts as a comprehensive manual. Coupled with the supplementary reading of some other books in the English language and memorisation of the Holy Quran, it can consolidate the knowledge of anyone seeking to work for Islam in this day and age.

Glossary of Arabic Trems
The Twentieth Century has witnessed one of the fiercest blows inflicted upon our Ummah by our enemy: the collapse of the Khilafah. If only their conspiracy had stopped at the demise of Khilafah. But they went on to indoctrinate Muslims with strange, foreign ideas and concepts, in order to confuse our understanding of our Deen. Once we wake up and try to return to our original Deen, we will be confronted with an intellectual perplexity, in which evil and good is mixed. Hence, the truth will be ambiguous and we will go astray, and lose the true understanding of Islam.
And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (this Qur’an) and be not divided among yourselves.” [Surah Ale-Imran (3), Ayah 103.]

33 Ways of Developing Al-Khushoo`: Humility and Devotion in Prayer
Shaykh Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid’s little book is perhaps one of the most widely-circulated among Muslims today. This is because the topic touches worshippers where it hurts—we know that we often lapse into an automatic sort of prayer when we lose concentration. The Shaykh points out that this loss of concentration really stems from a lack of humility and devotion—in Arabic, khushoo‘. His aim in writing this book is to help us to get back that khushoo‘. His step-by-step approach makes it simple. He gives practical advice and uses the excellent example of the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) to guide us, so that as worshippers, we can truly return to a state of humility and devotion before the Lord.
Muharramat: Forbidden Matters Some People Take Lightly
Some Muslims who are either ignorant or of weak faith still commit many acts which Allah never allowed. Ignorance is not an excuse for doing something wrong or illegal, hence it is important to make an effort to learn what these muharramât or forbidden acts are, in order to avoid ever committing them. The author, Shaykh Muhammad Sâlih al-Munajjid, explains many of the forbidden acts that have to do with calling on human beings and things other than Allah, worshipping the dead and circumambulating their graves, invoking prophets and the dead, magic, fortune-telling, believing in the power of astrologists and planets and other acts that go against the Islamic creed of monotheism (tawheed). As such, this book of prohibitions regarding beliefs and acts of worship is a helpful resource for Muslims, if they are really practicing Islam and want to avoid committing great sins.
My Little Quran Verses
In My Little Quran Verses, your child will find a fun way to learn the Quran verses requiring us to worship God and behave well. As they follow the adventures of Aya and Sarah, Salim and Adil, your child will first of all learn how to love Allah.
Allah Knows All About Me
As a Muslim parent, when you want to get a little serious about teaching your child the basics of Islamic faith, such as belief in Allah for example, it’s really hard to find books designed with the youngest children in mind. ‘Allah Knows All About Me,’ that’s been crafted, written and illustrated to introduce the youngest of children to belief in Allah, in a way they find as natural as life itself. This book is written using charming rhyming text with the repeated phrase ‘Allah knows all about me,’ which reinforces your child’s faith in their Creator with the turn of every page. The language is simple yet fluid so your child would love to read it time and time again. The narrative calls on everyday thoughts, feeling and emotions, helping your child to understand the concepts of faith in a way that relates to the way they see the world. So you are looking for a book that can instil the love of Allah in the hearts of your child while also introducing them to appealing literature, then ‘Allah Knows All About Me’ would be a wonderful member to your child’s library.

Ghibah (Backbiting) : The Root Cause of All Evil : The Commands and Prohibitions of the Shariah
Islam is a religion of peace, love, and compassion. Lies, suspicion, backbiting, slander, vain talk — all these are anathema to Islam. Indeed, such negative activity sows the seeds of enmity among the people and ultimately brings about the downfall of society. Backbiting (ghibah) in particular, according to the Qur’an, is not just a common social evil, but rather an abhorrent act, a major sin — the equivalent of eating one’s brother’s flesh.
Numerous ahadith of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) also underscore the complete futility, extreme loathsomeness and grave consequences of the deliberate misrepresentation of others. Backbiting, by the unanimous rulings of religious scholars (ijma) is forbidden, so that anyone who indulges in it is guilty of serious wrongdoing. Yet people have no qualms about engaging in this practice, flouting all prohibitions and strict commands.
Drawing upon important source material on the subjects of backbiting, false accusation (bhutan), and related issues, this book highlights the need to keep our society free of his ignoble malaise. To this end, it elucidates the relevant commands and prohibitions of the Shari’ah, so as to create in the minds of its readers a deep awareness of the sinfulness and ill effects of calumny.
