  • تعذر الجمع: أن يستحيل التوفيق بين الحديثين المتعارضين.
  • العلم بالتأخر: معرفة أن الحديث الناسخ جاء زمنياً بعد الحديث المنسوخ.
  • ثبوت النص: أن يكون كلا الحديثين (الناسخ والمنسوخ) صحيحين أو مقبولين للاحتجاج.
