This work is a qualitative study in which the story of Adam has been examined from different scientific and religious approaches. The study analyzed different accounts of the main theories and addressed the critical issue of the Origin of Man. It compared the origin of man from a religious perspective and concluded the most authentic account of the story of Adam. A critical analysis was done on the basis of the Theory of Evolution, Theistic Evolutionary Approaches, focusing on the Islamic perspective, to interpret the account of Adam mentioned in the religious texts. The study concluded that the non-methodological, inauthentic and contradicting attempts to interpret the religious account of Adam from an evolutionary perspective were completely unsuccessful, affirming miraculous creation of Adam as detailed in the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah.

Islamic Economics : Principles & Analysis (P/B)
Economics is a social science that studies the behaviour and interactions of economic agents and analyses how economies work at the macro- and micro-levels. It studies production, distribution and consumption of goods and services, identifies economic problems and phenomena, and addresses economic questions from a positive perspective (what is) as well as a normative (how it should be) perspective. Kitab al-Tawhid is a landmark work analysing orthodox Islamic monotheism. Since it was authored it has received a great deal of attention, a large number of commentaries and has been translated into over twenty languages. Relevant as it was then, it remains relevant today and Muslims are in dire need of reading it, studying it and teaching it.
