في زَمَنٍ كَثُرت فيه الدَّعاوى وتشوَّهت فيه المفاهيمُ، يأتي هذا الكتابُ لنَقضِ دَعوى انتِسابِ الأشاعِرةِ لأهلِ السُّنَّةِ والجماعةِ نقضًا عِلميًّا منهجيًّا، ميزانُه الكتابُ والسُّنَّةُ، وإجماعُ السَّلَفِ في أشهَرِ ثلاثِ مَسائِلَ عَقَديَّةٍ خالَف فيها الأشاعِرةُ مُعتَقَدَ السَّلَفِ أهلِ السُّنَّةِ والجَماعةِ، وهذه وَحدَها كافيةٌ لبيانِ زَيفِ هذه الدَّعوى، والكتابُ فيه نداءٌ لأيِّ أشعَريٍّ أنْ يثبتَ – إن استطاع! – عَدَمَ مخالفةِ المذهَبِ الأشعريِّ في هذه المسائِلِ الثَّلاثِ لإجماعِ السَّلَفِ في القُرونِ الثَّلاثةِ المفَضَّلةِ، وهو دَعوةٌ للتَّأمُّلِ والرُّجوعِ إلى الحَقِّ بعَينِ العَدلِ والإنصافِ.
