The subject matter of Taqwiyat-Ul-Iman is tauhid (The oneness of Allah), which is the foundation and the basis of religion. Shah Ismail shaheed has made only the Qur’an and the Sunnah, the obit of his discussion just like the righteous scholars. He refers to the Qur’anic Verses and Ahadith and interprets them in a very simple and comprehensible style and brings to light the true status of all the unlawful customs and rituals, which are commonly practiced in the society and are detrimental to the faith of Tauhid (Islamic Monotheism).
